Yes, Colour My Life with Your Love!

Colour My Life Prayer

Fire. Freedom. Flourishing. Fullness.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Yes, I long to know Your love, I long to know Your love so deeply
The love that fills the pages of Your story, in richest colour for all to see
Through Your Son’s atonement now effected completely, so this love’s no longer far from me
By Your Spirit freely poured out in me, let me know this love in fullest glory!

FIRE that burns with unyielding fury, so nothing can part our blazing intimacy
Consuming me whole with passionate jealousy, so You can be my one and only

FREEDOM to soar in Your love and power, above the serpent’s snare in unstoppable victory
Lifting the highest mountain easily and crushing the strongest yoke fearlessly

FLOURISHING me to all You made me to be, that I may bear eternal fruit restfully
Fulfilling all my needs abundantly and nurturing me from glory to glory

FULLNESS that satisfies like Eden’s river, welling up within me into an endless sea
Refreshing my thirst continually, giving life to my soul for eternity

Fire my life alight for You completely,
Free my life to soar with glee,
Flourish my life as Your royal tree,
Fill my life to overflow abundantly
Yes, colour my life with Your love
Colour my life through Your Spirit in me!

In Jesus’ name, Amen!

We are made for intimacy. We are made to be utterly seen and known, deeply treasured, and completely embraced—simply as we are.
This is the love that the Father longs to pour out on us. It is a fire so CONSUMING, a pursuit so relentless, a PASSION so unyielding—that culminated in the ultimate passion of His Son. A passion where the intense pain of crucifixion pales in comparison to the deep heartache of separation.
All so that you and I can be back in that loving embrace in the bosom of the Father—utterly adored, lavishly delighted in as His son and daughter, and together in blissful communion once more and forever...
"And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.” (Luke 15:20, ESV)
Do you long for true freedom? The Father longs even more for you be free. Indeed, He spared no expense—even His own Son—for you and I to live in freedom once again...the true freedom He has created us for.
Free from the strongest YOKE. Free to overcome the highest MOUNTAIN. Free from the snare of the serpent, the sting of death, the clutches of sin, and the curse of pain and toil.
Free to become everything He made us to be and simply live out all He has called us to. Free to walk in His love and power. Free to live a fulfilling life of adventure without fear. Free to enjoy the good and beautiful things He gives without sorrow. Free to be in sweet communion with Him without shame. Free to enjoy the One who has set us free...forever.
"Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him." (Mark 11:23, ESV)
Back in the garden, it was a place of rest.
There was no lack, no barrenness, no toil, no death. Instead, there was sheer abundance. What we needed wasn’t earned through our painful labours—our Father provided them all. Work was not a chore, but a gift, a joy, an overflow. In every way, life flourished...effortlessly.
This is the Father’s desire for you today. No longer do you need to fend for yourself in a bid to merely survive. No; He Himself will care for your needs and FULFILL you. He will NURTURE you with His tender love so that your life bears eternal, glorious fruit—a hundredfold.
It is in His love and care that you will find rest for your soul…and it is from this place of rest that you will FLOURISH to your fullest potential—all that He created you to be.
"And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." (Matthew 6:28-29, ESV)
What happens when a river keeps flowing? It wells up into a vast ocean. Imagine an ocean of life flowing from inside of you. That’s the FULL LIFE that the Father desires to give His children!
It is not a hollow promise of a "good life" that leaves you feeling empty. It is not a fleeting pleasure that leaves you with the bitter aftertaste of sin and death. This is the river of life that truly REFRESHES and GIVES LIFE to your thirsty soul.
Just as the river flowing from Eden watered the garden and caused it to flourish, and just as the river of life will flow from the throne of God to bring forth life-giving fruit, so this river now flows inside of you and waters the garden of your soul.
So come, drink your fill freely, for this river never ends. Drink and be fulfilled forevermore...
"On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, 'If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” (John 7:37-38, ESV)
